About Scott

President, Washington Township Board of Trustees

I’m a husband, dad of seven, small-business owner, engineer, and your Washington Township Trustee for the past 15 years. Erica and I have raised our family here—our kids have all gone to Centerville Schools, with three still in the system—so every decision I make is through a simple lens: keep our township safe, fiscally strong, and welcoming for families and seniors.

Together, Erica and I own Nurture, a practice that supports families through the childbearing years with services like prenatal ultrasounds, massage, DNA clinical gender testing, hypno-birthing classes, doula support, and postpartum mom’s groups. That work keeps me grounded in what matters—healthy families, friendly service, and trust you can feel.

I am also an engineering consultant, which means I’m wired to solve problems with facts, timelines, and budgets. I bring that same, practical approach to township work: listen first, do the homework, and deliver results residents can see.

As Trustee, I am focused on the fundamentals:

  • Public safety: world-class Fire/EMS, strong partnership with the Sheriff, and prevention programs that protect families and seniors.

  • Streets & sidewalks: a disciplined paving plan, drainage fixes, and better walkability near schools and parks.

  • Fiscal stewardship: open-book budgets, a five-year financial forecast, healthy reserves, and smart use of grants to stretch local dollars.

  • Quality of life: strong RecPlex programs, parks, and community events—services that make Washington Township home.

I’m proud of our progress, and I’m just as committed to being accessible and friendly when you need help—from a service request to a neighborhood question. If you have an idea or issue, I want to hear it. We’re neighbors first, and that’s how I lead.

Scott is a 15-year Washington Township Trustee, problem-solver, and neighbor. He and his wife, Erica, are raising seven kids—three still in Centerville Schools. Together they run Nurture, supporting families through the childbearing years. Scott also does engineering consulting, bringing a practical, budget-minded approach to township work.
